To anticipate fake vaccine, Jakarta Health Dept is examining vaccine distribution from private health facilities that spread in the capital.

We've examined 605 health facilities and will supervise vaccines that are not from official distribution track or fake

"We've examined 605 health facilities and will supervise vaccines that are not from official distribution track or fake," expressed Koesmadi Priharto, Head of Jakarta Health Dept, Saturday (7/2).

In future, its supervision system on vaccine distribution to health facility will be fixed. It includes the used vaccine that listed in the government program and additional vaccine beyond the program.

Vaccine in City's Health Facilities is Original

"Aside that, the government’s health facility for immunization program should be through official distributor," he stated.

All sub-district puskesmas were also asked to set up a complaint post and an immunization service post. And all health facilities must ensure the B3 waste processing in accordance with the applicable procedures.

"Waste that is processed must be in accordance with Law No. 32/2009 on protection and living environment processing, thus misuse action can be prevented," he finished.
