Celebration of Eid ul Fitr 1437 Hijri could be the moment of awakening a spirit of cooperation to develop Jakarta.

"Let we use this sacred moment as a benchmark for mutual cooperation, hand in hand in developing our city," said Effendi Anas, Mayor of West Jakarta, after the Eid prayer, Wednesday (7/6).

He also invited West Jakarta residents to foster and improve continuously the ukhuwah (nationalism) and the relationship between fellow Muslims.

"Fulfill the obligation to pay zakat (Islamic alms), keeping order and for the homecoming, goodbye and safely back to Jakarta with a fit and healthy," he finished.
