Central Jakarta Administration controlled street vendor (PKL) stalls at Karet Bivak and Kebembem cemeteries. Hundreds of stall and cart were seized by personnel.

Bayu Megantara, Central Jakarta Vice Mayor, said area at cemetery is forbidden for selling activity. It is hoped Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of City Park and Cemetery will be more intense monitoring the area.

Hundreds of Personnel Sent to Maintain Cleanliness in W. JakartaSantoso, Central Jakarta Satpol PP Head Section of Operation, explained the controlling involved 100 Satpol PP personnel, 100 PPSU personnel, 20 cleanliness personnel, and 10 personnel of Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Social.
“There are 70 stalls at Kebembem cemetery, 10 shanties and one cart, while at Karet Bivak are 50 stalls and two carts,” he closed.
