Jakarta Provincial Government will hold population operation on D+15 after Eid ul Fitr. The operation is prioritized for flat occupants.

“Our target is flats owned by our government. Flats are designed for Jakarta people who have no home,” said Edison Sianturi, Jakarta Head Dept. of Population and Registration, Monday (7/11).
During the operation, his side will cooperate with Dept. of Public Housing and Governmental Building. Newcomers in the flat will be dispelled without given any identity.
Newcomers Predicted to Reach 70 Thousand People“It is impossible to give ID card in flat without recommendation from public housing agency. Our flats are not for newcomers,” he added.
His side will bring e-ID card recording device to know the occupants domicile.
