799 PMKS Secured During Fasting Month

As many as 799 people with social-welfare problem (PMKS) were netted by Jakarta Dept. of Social. All of them were netted during fasting month up to post-Eid, Monday (7/11).

Miftahul Huda, agency’s public relation, said 734 PMKS ere netted on fasting month and the other 65 were netted after Eid.

“They have been sent to social house. Raid will remain be conducted,” he said, Monday (7/11).

Basuki Reminds Citizens to Avoid Giving Alms on Street

Based on the data, there were 7,809 PMKS netted since January to July 2016. The raid was held day and night especially at public spaces such as intersection, crossroad, terminal, station, public transport, and so on.
