Dozens of street vendor (PKL)s stalls at Senen, Tanah Abang and Gambir, Central Jakarta were controlled. The effort was held since the stalls occupied roadside and sidewalk.

Santoso, Central Jakarta Satpol PP’s Operation Section, said the controlling was held simultaneously at three areas. The raid was repeatedly held, but the PKL always come back.

PKL on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan ControlledSantoso admitted will maintain the raid and monitor social-public facility in Central Jakarta which is occupied by PKL.
“The stalls are directly destroyed, while the carts are sent to Satpol PP warehouse in Cakung,” he closed.
