PMKS Raid in C. Jakarta Intensified at Rush Hour

Central Jakarta Social Sub-dept is about to raid the people with social and welfare issues (PMKS) at rush hour, precisely in the morning and the afternoon.

Central Jakarta Social Sub-dept Head, Susana Budi Susilowati stated has detected many PMKS operating in the afternoon. They are trying to take advantage of the many people passing to seek their fortune. 

"PMKS are usually operating in afternoon. Indeed, we would better conducting the raid in morning or afternoon. They take advantage of the mercy of the passing people who want to go to the office," he explained.

Prone to PMKS Areas to Be Combed

Therefore, she intends to intensively raid them. Moreover, post- Eid ul Fitr, the number of newcomers keeps increasing in the city.

Meanwhile, Cempaka Putih Sub-district Vice Head, Bernad Tambunan uttered the raid will involve Satpol PP and Social Sub-dept. Yesterday, in afternoon, they managed to secure six PMKS along Jl Ahmad Yani, Jl Letjend Suprapto and Cempaka Putih Market.

"These PMKS consist of beggars, bums and unofficial traffic attendants or locally known as pak ogah. We have sent them to the Kedoya Social Institution, West Jakarta," he finished.
