Basuki Supports Police Solving Fake Vaccine Case

Jakarta Provincial Government has given sanction to clinics or midwives using fake vaccines. As the law process, it will be given to police.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama said the case must be examined deeper to know the network. Especially at Harapan Bunda hospital.

“We must wait the examination report. It could be hospital, nurse, or doctor who plays the role,” he said, Tuesday (7/19).

City to Revoke Fake Vaccine User License

Basuki added that health attendants who gave vaccine should know its originality. Patients will not know if they got fake vaccine.

“Logically, patients can not differ fake and original vaccine. If someone offering you cheap vaccine, will you accept it?,” he added.

Hospital, clinic, and midwife must buy vaccine at official companies.

“Big companies will not distribute fake vaccines. If hospital plays the role, sanction will be given surely,” he closed.
