The implementation of the Association For 2016 International Sport for All (Tafisa) World Games that staged in Jakarta will also be used as a means to promote tourism in Jakarta.

"This is traditional sport contest and all countries will participate, we will use it to promote Jakarta," expressed Fatahillah, Assistant of People Welfare (Askesra) for City Secretary, Wednesday (7/20).

He asserted a number of tourism facilities must be ready during the event. Besides Monas, Setu Babakan was directed to be arranged as good as possible for the participants to conduct tour.

"This international event is very good for our tourism in Jakarta and Indonesia. That's why there should be synergy from the central government," he disclosed.

Such event is slated to be held on October 6-12, 2016. And the opening will be staged at Taman Impian Jaya Ancol on October 8.
