Kali Besar Barat at Kota Tua area, Pinangsia Urban Village, Taman Sari Sub-district, West Jakarta will be revitalized in August. The project is part of Governor Instruction No. 101/2016 to beautify Kota Tua area.

“After revitalization, street around the river can be used as hang out place. River water to be made as clear as possible, as well as providing park,” said Norviadi S Husodo, Head Unit of Kota Tua Management, Friday (7/22).
The revitalization is inspired from Cheonggyechon river in Seoul, Korea. As the first stage, the project is implemented along 600-700 meters up to Jembatan Kota Intan. It will spend Rp 270 billion.
