Jakarta Provincial Government conducts a communal work in the Bantargebang Landfill at Jl Pangkalan V, Bantargebang Sub-district, Bekasi City. The activity is conducted after the site was officially taken over by Jakarta government.

Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-dept Head, Isnawa Adji disclosed similar activity is also conducted by 381 freelancers that were previously under PT Godang Tua Jaya.

"We will prove that the city is ready to manage, despite we still have weaknesses, which is why we do communal work," he expressed, Sunday (7/24).

It is also done for channel cleanliness and tree planting in order to beautify the landfill.

"This is part of our spirit to manage the bantargebang," he uttered.

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's data, the officer does cleanliness using heavy equipment and manual tool. Garbage that spread along the street also cleaned.
