Freelancer of Bantargebang Landfill will Be Salaried Per August

After taking over the Bantergebang Landfill, Jakarta Provincial Government will pay 318 freelancers under Jakarta Cleanliness Dept. The salary will be paid per August.

Until the end of this month, they are still salaried by the operator. But in the upcoming August, we will pay them in accordance with the monthly UMP of Rp 3.1 million

"Until the end of this month, they are still salaried by the operator. But in the upcoming August, we will pay them in accordance with the monthly UMP of Rp 3.1 million," said Isnawa Adji, Head of Jakarta Cleanliness Dept, Sunday (7/24).

Bantar Gebang New System Saves Budget

Previously, he had asked all freelancers to open Bank DKI account first. This is because, the salary payment has been used transfer system.

"They have to keep working every day considering there were 7,000 tons of garbage every day going in and needs immediate attention," he stated.

Post-takeover of management, he assessed, 13 heavy equipements are direclty sent to the location for cleanliness. Every day, as many as 1,100-1,200 trucks send garbage to Bantargebang.

"For the management of its own, we are still using technology that is already running for this thims," he finished.
