Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama gives odd-even trial to police personnel.

We just follow them. They will lead the trial

“We just follow them. They will lead the trial,” he said, Monday (7/25).

Basuki admitted that odd-even system is able to decline vehicle number on the road by 20 percent.

Odd-even Supervision is Easier Basuki Says

“It is difficult to decline 50 percent of vehicles on the road,” he added.

He added that vehicle limitation will be maximal if applying ERP system. It is predicted that the system will be able to decline vehicles by 80 percent.

“ERP is able to decline up to 80 percent, depends on the rate,” he continued.

As reported earlier, Jakarta Dept. of Transportation and City Police will hold trial for odd-even system on July 27. The policy is run on roads where 3 in 1 system was applied.
