8.000 Newcomers Recorded in C. Jakarta

Central Jakarta Administration predicted around 8,000 newcomers come in Central Jakarta post-Eid ul Fitr. Although there is no such ban to stay in Jakarta, they must obey the applicable rules.

"We do not prohibit, the government hopes if you want to stay in Jakarta, you must be orderly administration," said Warisih, Head of Central Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept, Tuesday (7/26).

Her sub-dept routinely does the population raid (Binduk). As the previous year, it will be targeted to the urban, either those who live in the settlement or flat.

"Because this is guidance, we will do persuasive method," she told.

Regarding number of the newcomers, she admitted, such data was taken from result of homecoming team coordination and regional working unit (SKPD), such as Transportation Dept. "We target 16 areas in each sub-district. Later on, we mix it with the data in the field, certainly it is not more than 8,000," she uttered.
