Jakarta Cleanliness Dept ensured, none of the freelancer (PHL) who made illegal levies to vendors during Car Free Day. It was confirmed to respond the investigation result by Indonesian Ombudsman in April-May 2016.

"Our freelancer is clean from illegal levies action towards vendors during Car Free Day," said Ali Maulana Hakim, Vice Head of Jakarta Cleanliness Dept, Tuesday (7/26).

According to him, indeed he got complaint from residents. After being investigated, it was not committed by his unit, but those who claim to be cleanliness freelancer.

"Last Ramadan, we had detained people who allegedly ask for money cleanliness to vendors," he asserted.

Formerly, this morning, in his office at Jl HR Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, one of Indonesian Ombudsman Members, Amhad Alamsyah Saragih revealed there are still cleanliness freelancers asking for money from vendors during Car Free Day.

The finding was obtained from investigation result in April-May 2016.
