Food Monitoring in the Market must Be Monitored Tightly

Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) revealed food monitoring should be intensified. This is because there are still found products without having Indonesian National Standard (SNI) in the market.

A lot of goods in the market, especially supermarket have no SNI logo and halal. It must be monitored

Jakarta DPRD Commission Chairman, Tubagus Arif asked food monitoring in the market should be intensified. Thus products without standard and certificate could be minimized.

"A lot of goods in the market, especially supermarket have no SNI logo and halal. It must be monitored," he expressed, while leading a discussion of working program for Jakarta KUMKMP Dept in the meeting room of Jakarta DPRD Commission B, Thursday (7/28).

Dangerous Food Found in 5 Traditional Markets

If the dangerous food is detected, it should be withdrawn from the market. The officer must also coordinate with BPOM for routine monitoring.

"Residents did not know. Whereas not necessarily the product bought is halal," he exclaimed.

His party also wants similar action to be done for alcohol drink in the minimart to prevent unwanted things in the public.
