Jakarta Water Management Dept is going to install a sheet pile in Pasar Ikan area, North Jakarta this week. Jakarta Water Management Dept Head, Teguh Hendrawan disclosed, the auction winner was set thus the work can be conducted.
"I hope sheet pile can be installed this Saturday," he stated, at City Hall, Friday (7/29).
Collapsed Dam will Be Equipped with Sheet PileThe auction winner to install sheet pile that is PT Brantas. Sheet pile will be installed from on the east side that crosses bay area until Pasar Ikan's pump as long as 1.2 km.
"All will be installed in Pasar Ikan areas. Our tool has begun to be mobilized," he expressed.
He added that the project fund is about Rp 50 billion and is hoped able to be complete at the end of this year.
"Approximately it will be completed in mid-December," he predicted.
According to him, the installation has got support from local residents. A few days ago, locals through RT and RW chairman sent proposal for sheet pile installation to Mayor of North Jakarta.
"They make a proposal for its installation. There is statement letter from RT and RW, and now they support us," he finished.
