Jakarta Provincial Government is about to construct Intermediate Treatment Facilities (ITF) in the city. It means the disposal waste will no longer depend on Bantar Gebang dump site.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama said of Jakarta has incinerator, then Bantar Gebang dump site can be used by Bekasi Administration.

Heavy Equipment at Bantar Gebang Added GraduallyBasuki added his side has cooperated with Bekasi Administration especially after taking over the Bantar Gebang dump site.
Jakarta Provincial Government will instruct two city-owned enterprises (BUMD), PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) and PT Pembangunan Jaya to construct ITF.
