Due to left empty, the Jakarta UPT Lokbin sealed 33 kiosks in Block B Alley 103, Koja, North Jakarta, Wednesday (7/5) . While the rest 22 kiosks are still given a grace period because the owners requested the suspension until Sunday (5/11).

Mostly we seal kiosks on the third floor, and then kiosks on the first and second floors

Such sealing is conducted because 224 kiosks have been raffled and given key to the peddlers on Thursday (4/24). Nevertheless, the owners are obligated to open their kiosks about 2x24 hours after being given a key. Due to the limit of tolerance up to 2 weeks to open a kiosk has been expired, the empty kiosks had to be sealed.

Head of Jakarta UPT Lokbin, Orada Sinurat stated that after being evaluated, his side decides to seal the empty kiosks today. As for the peddlers who request for suspension is still given chance.

"Mostly we seal kiosks on the third floor, and continued to kiosks on the first and second floors," he expressed, Wednesday (5/7).

Nevertheless, his side is still giving a chance to the owners to process their kiosks until Sunday (5/11). If the kiosk remains neglected, it will be transferred to other peddlers.
