Even though it has been operated over a week, but the majority of kiosks at Block B Lokasi Binaan Market (Lokbin) 103, Koja, North Jakarta, is still closed. In fact, one of the agreement clauses, after receiving the key, the merchant have to fill the kiosk within 2 x 24 hours.
The kiosks that are not occupied will be drawn for the rest of the last merchants. On Monday (5/5) I would tell them about it, if on Thursday (5/8) their kiosks are not occupied, we will seal it
Yet on Saturday (5/3), most of the kiosks that are given freely by the city administration have not been occupied. Of three floors with a total of 224 kiosk units, only the ground floor that has already been filled, while the second floor, there are only few kiosks that are already occupied while the kiosks on the third floor are entirely empty.
Head of City Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Lokbin, Orada Sinurat, explained that the process of Lokbin 103 drawing had been completed. Of the 224 kiosks, 89 of them were given to the priority merchants. While another 135 kiosk were drawn for 220 merchants only.
Deserted from Buyer, 692 Kiosks in Pasar Santa Empty"At the previous draw, there were 198 merchants signed up. While the 22 merchants were not coming, we considered their turn was charred," said Sinurat.
Of the 198 merchants, 135 of them directly take place at Block B Lokbin Alley 103 after being drawn. While the rest will receive priority allocation kiosks at Block C Lokbin Alley 103 that will be built in the upcoming 2015.
“For a while, they will trade on a shelter. As planned, the second floor of Block B parking lot will have about 25 merchants, we still find a solution for the rest," he stated.
Meanwhile the rest of 38 merchants will not get a shelter on the ground floor because it can create jealously to other merchants.
Related to the empty kiosks at lokbin, Sinurat will give deadline until Thursday (5/8). If they would not occupy the kiosks, the kiosks will be sealed and the key will be taken to be given to other merchants.
