Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama acknowledged has approved the concept of the row village from Ciliwung Merdeka. But they were required to submit the approval of citizens who are willing to land converted into row village.

"I can't develop the flat on the river, so I prefer to the row village," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (8/3).

He disclosed has met with Ciliwung Merdeka, regarding development of the row village. Until now, he is still waiting for agreement letter from citizen over the project.

That means the city administration already conduct socialization.

"I've met with him (Ciliwung Merdeka) at City Hall. We ask for agreement letter to him but he doesn't bring it to us, whereas I'm ready to start the project," he finished.
