The city administration prepares fund amounting to Rp 35 billion for community empowerment program towards citizens living around bantargebang landfill, Bekasi, West Java.
Compensation will be given for July-December 2016
Jakarta Cleanliness Dept Head, Isnawa Adji disclosed that the fund will be given to citizens Cikiwul, Ciketing Udik and Sumurbatu urban village in Bantar Gebang sub-district, Bekasi City.
"Compensation will be given for July-December 2016," he stated, in bantargebang landfill, Friday (8/5).
Bantargebang Landfill CleanedHe explains such fund would be given to 18,000 households. Each quarter, citizen will receive compensation amounting to Rp 500,000.
"Technically, the distribution is through Bekasi Administration by involving the Community Empowerment Association (LPM)," he told.
