E-Profile App Is Useful to Monitor Tax Officer

South Jakarta Tax Service Sub-dept encourages its territory as a pilot project in application of monitoring system of tax officers and taxpayers based on information technology (IT) via e-Profile application.

"Computerization in the form of e-Profile will be a pilot project, and will be imposed in five cities," said Johari, Head of South Jakarta Tax Service Dept, after listening to the program exposure of the Head of the E-Profile project, Friday (8/5)

According to him, it is useful for the improvement of the tax office service in supervision of tax officers and taxpayers. Regarding legal protection, it can use Gubernatorial Regulation No. 181/2014 on System and Procedure in Management of Data and Information Development, or simply by Dept Head's Regulation.

Meanwhile, Head of E-Profile Project, Walden Nadaek disclosed, the app can optimize the performance and implication on improving the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of management and organization.

"In addition to increasing local tax revenue, can also help governor in supervising tax officer and know the potential tax. Because the e-profile will be connected with the Jakarta Smart City," he stated.
