Online System Eases Tax Payment

Now, citizens do not need to queue in tax service office to pay tax as Tax Service Department has launched Online Tax System Application.

Taxpayers don't need to queue paying tax in Jakarta Tax Service office or Regional Tax Service Management Unit (UPPD) in sub-district

Through the service, taxpayers just need to process the administration by accessing pajakonline.jakarta.co.id site and can choose payment via ATM, e-banking, or mobile banking.

"By this online service,  taxpayers don't need to queue paying tax in Jakarta Tax Service office or  Regional Tax Service Management Unit (UPPD) in sub-district," said Head of Tax Information Service and Councelling Technical Management Unit for DPP DKI, Andri Kunarso, Friday (7/10).

Sunarso disclosed, besides for simplifying tax payment, the application is also created for minimizing interaction between tax officer and taxpayers. Not only that, the IT based tax system could optimize tax service with limited human source.

According to him, the other benefit of the application is could lessen traffic congestion in the city. As, number of taxpayers going to tax service office to pay the tax by using private vehicle decreased.

"So now taxpayers are able to pay tax at home and no need to come to the office. It gives contribution for minimizing traffic congestion,"

He added, since beginning the application created, it is purposed to simplify taxpayers paying tax conveniently and safely.

"So now, citizens can pay tax just by accessing our site pajakonline.jakarta.co.id," he disclosed.
