Fire in Pondok Bambu Injured Three People

After struggling for three hours, personnel together with local citizens finally extinguished fire at Jalan Gotong Royong, RT 02/02, Pondok Bambu Urban Village, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. Three people are injured because of this incident.

“There is no victim except injured three people. The loss is being calculated,” said Gatot Sulaiman, East Jakarta Head Section of Operation for Sub-dept. of Fire and Rescue, Monday (8/8).

Those three injured people are Intan (37) suffering broken leg, Mursia (41) were unconsciousness, and Kurniawan (33) suffering burns.

Fire Destroys Tens of Furniture Warehouses in Pondok Bambu

Gatot added the fire was getting big at 7 AM and successfully handled at 10.30 AM. The cause of fire is being investigated now.

“Allegedly, it is caused by short-circuit electricity. But we still deepening the investigation,” he closed.
