Free from PKL, Monas Visitor Increases

Monas visitor number increases since the area is free from street vendor (PKL). The visitor feels comfort with the present situation.

Now the visitor number increases yo 85 thousand per week

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama noted previous visitor number was 10-20 thousand per week. Now it increases to 85 thousand people.

“Now the visitor number increases yo 85 thousand per week,” he said, Wednesday (8/10).

Basuki added that PKL often forced visitor buying their products.

“We also install many CCTVs,” he added.

Basuki admitted PKL often back to location when the personnel leave the area.
