KJS Covers Meningitis Boy’s Treatment

After had been in dark for several days due to there was no money to pay the treatment of their 11-month old baby Muhammad Fauzan Syahputra who suffers meningitis, Marzuki (40) and Sadiyah (40) are now can breathe with relief. Through Jakarta Health Card (KJS), Jakarta Provincial Government will cover all Marzuki’s treatment costs.

On Thursday (5/8) afternoon, Fauzan was transferred to Tarakan General Hospital, Central Jakarta, after previously treated for five days at Royal Taruma Hospital, Grogol, West Jakarta, that costs his parents tens of millions rupiah. His transfer was directly handled by West Jakarta Health Sub-Department, and he is now staying in Melati Room No. 5034 on the 5th floor of Tarakan General Hospital.
“We transferred Fauzan to Tarakan General Hospital yesterday using ambulance from Kebon Jeruk Community Health Center. His condition is getting better. He will get the best treatment in Tarakan General Hospital until his is recovered,” stated Head of West Jakarta Health Sub-Department, Widiyastuti, Friday (5/9).

“I’ve asked my son to be operated immediately because his eyes cannot see anymore and he is hardly to defecate. I’m afraid his illness spread. But, the hospital said the surgery room is still full,” she uttered.
Thus far, the leaders of Tarakan Hospital cannot be confirmed yet.
“All leaders and public relation officers are still in Puncak, Bogor, to attend an activity,” told Sugiono, staff of Tarakan Hospital Information and Marketing Division.
