Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama held a meeting with Trade Minister, Enggartiasto Lukita and Agriculture Minister, Andi Amran Sulaiman to discuss staple distribution in the capital.

In the meeting, they agreed to hold the market operation by involving the trader.

"We equate our perception about market operation, meat and staple," disclosed Basuki, at City Hall, Monday (8/15).

Despite it involves trader, the products sold will remain be monitored. Traders who sell at expensive price will be sanctioned from warning and evicted from the kiosk.

"The price is set by us. So, the system is clear," he stressed.

Basuki added meeting result was directly submitted to President, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo.

"I say President wanted to discuss about staple. He wants the meeting results," he finished.
