Fire razes 30 buildings that consist of 10 shop houses and 20 rented houses on Jl Taruna, RT 14/03 Jati Urban Village, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, Thursday (8/18), at around 12.40 AM.

Division Head of Operation for East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept, Gatot Sulaiman disclosed, around 30 households or 150 people had to lose their houses and business. Allegedly, the fire came out from a stove that forgot to shut down by the owner. At that time, the owner was sleeping. Its identity is still unknown.

To put out the flames, 18 fire trucks deployed to the scene and managed to control the condition at around 2.50 AM or two hours after the incident.
