18 Fictitious Found from Tombs in Joglo TPU

West Jakarta Park and Cemetery Sub-dept once again found fictitious tombs at Joglo Public Cemetery (TPU), Jl Palem Raya, Joglo Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district, West Jakarta. This time, they found 18 units.

West Jakarta Park and Cemetery Sub-dept Head, Uus Kuswanto disclosed, the 18 fictitious tombs were found a week ago.

"We got suspicious on the tombs in the Joglo TPU. In fact, 18 fictitious tombs are detected there," he expressed, Thursday (8/18).

City Employees Involved in Fictitious Tomb will Be Fired

His sub-dept will continue to investigate the case. The tomb that have 6.52 hectares wide has existed a long time. Allegedly, there are people and thugs who often dig and maintain the tomb in the TPU.

"That means, although there are 18 fictitious tombs, its existence will keep increasing in future," he told.

Therefore, 11 freelancers that spread in 11 TPUs have been relocated. As for the sanction, will be handed over to dept.

Formerly, there were found 169 fictitious tombs in Tegal Alur TPU. 

"Totally, we found 187 fictitious tombs from Tegal Alur and Joglo cemeteries," he finished.
