Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama said the grocery center will support the traders to face Asean Economic People (MEA), as well as compete with modern market.
“Next December, PD Pasar Jaya has the biggest grocery center in Kramat Jati Market,” he said, Friday (8/19).

“We can not compete with modern market since the price is already high from the first hand. We get the products from the fourth or fifth hand,” he added.
Moreover, some traders get the products with loan money. It forces them to sell the products higher than usual.
