Most areas that previously had inundated on Friday (19/8) night has started to recede this afternoon. However, due to landslides, inundation is still going on near the jungle city of Pondok Labu, South Jakarta.

Flood is still inundating Pondok Labu because of landslides. It causes water channel cannot accommodate water optimally.
At this time, PPSU and Water Management Dept officers are still repairing a sheet pile of the jungle city. "Last night, water level had touched 120 cm and now has receded 30 cm," he expressed.
Besides that, similar condition is also spotted in Kampung Rambutan. "Water level reaches 40 cm, because there is narrowing between Cipinang and Malang rivers, thus water cannot flow well," he finished.
