135 Fire Cases Occurred in N. Jakarta

Throughout January-July 2016, there have been 135 fire cases occurred in North Jakarta with material loss reached dozens of millions rupiah.

Based on temporary allegation, 100 fire cases are due to electricity short-circuit, 10 cases are from exploded stove, 6 cases are from cigarette and 19 other cases are many things

North Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept, Satriadi Gunawan disclosed, for details, the burning objects are including 36 homes, 27 buildings of public and trading, 8 industry buildings, 14 vehicles and 47 other objects such as electric cable, piles of material or goods with combustible materials.

"Based on temporary allegation, 100 fire cases are due to electricity short-circuit, 10 cases are from exploded stove, 6 cases are from cigarette and 19 other cases are many things," he expressed, Monday (8/22).

Along January-September, 195 Fire Cases Hit N. Jakarta

From 135 fire cases, there is no casualty but only six people injured. For material loss from January-July 2016 is reaching Rp 12,140,600,000.

"Compared to last year's January-July, material loss was Rp 35,947,100,000 with two dead victims. And this year, there is no casualty. This shows improvement of response time," he stated.

For the highest fire case happens in Tanjung Priok Sub-district with 33 cases, followed by Penjaringan with 31 cases, Pademangan with 26 cases, Cilincing with 18 cases, Kelapa Gading with 17 cases and Koja with 10 cases.
