From time to time, West Jakarta is still leading in fire case number in the capital. Based on the latest data, there were 198 fire cases during January to August 2015.

"There were 143 cases during January-August 2014. This year period is 55 cases higher compared to last year," said Pardjoko, West Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Fire Handling and Rescue, Tuesday (9/8).
The highest case was in Cengkareng by 41 cases. Next are Kembangan 37 cases, Kebon Jeruk 30 cases, Kalideres 21 cases, Grogol Petamburan 20 cases, Tambora 18 cases and Palmerah 10 cases.
