North Jakarta Administration held the integrated health post (Posyandu) for Elderly at the office of Sungai Bambu Urban Village, Tanjung Priok, Friday (8/26).

Sungai Bambu Urban Village Head, Sumarno stated, the service is opened for elderly who is experiencing a phase of decline in intellect and physical capabilities thus limited in their daily activities.

He explains, the elderly is directed to check up cholesterol, blood pressure, and other health counseling. They were also given drugs and accompanied by doctors from urban village community health center (puskesmas).
"Similar service will also open in each RWs," he said.
