Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama revealed, grant to the foundation should not be distributed continuously. Including the HB Jassin Literary Documentation Center (PDS), Cikini.

According to Home Ministry Regulation No. 32/2011 on guideline and grant aid and social assistance sourced from the APBD, aid is only allowed a maximum of three times in a row.

"Previously, they (PDS) got grant continuously. From Home Ministry, its distribution must be limited," he stated, at City Hall, Tuesday (8/30).

Nevertheless, the city administration has given an offer thus the foundation can be taken over. But it is not yet agreed.

"We continue to give the offer, we also have its dossier (BAP). Just use our facility, we will pay you and can be manager, but they not yet agree it," he told.

Basuki also questioned the transparency of the grant management to the HB Jassin PDS during this time.

If it is managed by the city administration, they will be better. The employee and its caretaker are still allowed to keep working.

"Logically, you want grant, we will manage it. Where is your transparent? Do not you believe we can maintain it, you may also jump in it," he disclosed.
