After waiting for one and a half year, Tahir Foundation finally gives another five Mercedez Benz double-decker buses. Previously, the foundation has given the bus. But it was postponed because of fail fulfilling the requirement based on PP No. 55/2012.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama thanks to the foundation who never gives up granting the buses.

“Tahir Foundation had granted us five buses. But the buses can not be operated due to failed requirement. Now they grant us another buses,” he said, Friday (6/17).

In the future, Basuki hopes other companies will also grant Jakarta Provincial Government double-decker buses. City targets to own 40 units.

Basuki requests PT Transjakarta to deliver letters to companies asking bus grants.

“Transjakarta director must complete the remaining 12 units of double-decker bus,” he closed.
