Three Weeks, 2,500 People in N. Jakarta Processed E-ID Card

Around 18,178 people of North Jakarta are obligated to process the e-ID Card at the latest on September 31, 2016.

This is very helpful to accelerate the ownership of e-ID card. For those who work every Monday to Friday can process it on Saturday or holiday

Head of North Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept, Erik Polim Sinurat disclosed that since last three weeks, people who process e-ID card has reached 2,500 people. The number is recorded after the counter service is opened in 31 urban villages.

165,172 People Have Not Recorded e-ID Card

"This is very helpful to accelerate the ownership of e-ID card. For those who work every Monday to Friday can process it on Saturday or holiday," he said, Tuesday (8/30).

He continued, besides opening 31 counters on Saturday (8/27), his side also does jemput bole service to Pelindo Flat, Cilincing. As a result, 436 people have processed the card.

"Commonly, most applicants are those who had entered the age of 17 years," he told.

He added, for target, his side still continues to coordinate with local RT and RW.

"This is because there are residents moving from the domicile but not report. Or study in aboard and died," he said.
