The settlement at RT 01 and Rt 03, RW 08 Kelapa Dua Wetan, Ciracas, East Jakarta was still submerged on Monday (8/29) night. The water height was 50-60 cm. The condition was caused by the overflowing of Rawa Babon reservoir.

Anton (63), one of the citizens, said the flood is worse compared to previous one. Previously, the water height only 50 cm, now is up to 80 cm.
“If there is no landslide at the reservoir, the condition will not like this,” he said, Monday (8/29).
Houses and Cars in Kelapa Dua Wetan FloodedAhmad Yazid Bustomi, East Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Water Management, admitted his side will provide new river lane to flow the water.
“It is targeted to complete in three days. Bagwork has been prepared at the location,” he admitted.
