Jakarta Dept. of Water Management starts to normalize the Krukut River, Kemang, South Jakarta. Since last night one heavy equipment has been deployed.

“One unit of amphibious excavator has arrived and directly dredged the river,” said Teguh Hendarwan, head of agency, Tuesday (8/30).
According to him, there are 15 heavy equipments to be deployed at the location. Maximally, the dredging will be applied up to 1.5 meters.
Buildings on Krukut Riverbank will Be Demolished Soon“Sediment at the location is quite high,” he added.
Previously, heavy flow of Krukut River caused the settlement wall collapsed. The agency installed bagworks as the temporary handling.
