In period of January-August 2016, City Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept has spread 200,000 fish seeds in public waters in the capital.

"We've spread 200,000 fish seeds in public waters in Jakarta," said Darjamuni, Head of City Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept, Wednesday (8/31).
4,300 Fish Seeds Released to the SeaDarjamuni disclosed, before spreading seeds, his dept firstly check the water level in the reservoirs, lakes, ponds and other waters thus fish are well grown and not easily die.
"Currently we're still checking the waters condition. If it is potential, fish seeds will be spread," he expressed.
He disclosed will continue to spread fish seeds thus people can consume it. It is allowed to be fished.
"Types of fish seeds here are gurame, nila and mujair (types of tilapia), as well as catfish," he uttered.
