4,300 Fish Seeds Released to the Sea

The Cultivation and Conservation Center, Marine Fish Breeding Office for Jakarta Maritime, Fishery and Food Security Dept released 4,300 fish seeds to the sea.

"Every month, we release 4,300 fish seeds to the sea, measuring 8-10 cm," said Dedi Damhudi, a Field Technician of Marine Fish Breeding Office, Dedi Damhudi, Jakarta Maritime, Fishery and Food Security Dept.

According to him, grouper fish releasing in Tidung Island, Seribu Islands is never depleted and replaced the adult fish that has been caught.

"Besides serving sub-dept request for cultivation guidance, we also release fish seeds to the sea thus its existence can still exist," he disclosed.

As for the information, the Tidung Island Marine Fish Seeds Office (BBIL) is able to incubate 30 thousand seeds per month. And after breeding takes for 4.5 months, fish measuring 8-10 cm is ready to be shared to all the guidance community for free or released into nature.
