PD Dharma Jaya Proposed PMP By Rp 98 B

City Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD), PD Dharma Jaya proposed an investment participation (PMP) amounting to Rp 98 billion in discussion of General Policy for City Budget Priorities and the Tentative Budget Platform (KUA-PPAS). The budget will be prepared for program of beef provision.

"PD Dharma Jaya is supposed to be able to set the needs of meat supply for Jakartans. There must be great support thus supply and price stabilization can be controlled," said Tandanan Daulay, a member of City Council Budgeting Agency during discussion of KUA-PPAS, Thursday (9/1).

Similar statement also came out from Bestari Barus, another member of City Council Banggar. He disclosed, such proposal is very small thus do not bring a lot of benefits to meet the needs of meat in the city.

"The current capital owned is higher than the private sector. If you want a plus, just request the highest," he stated.

Bestari also made a proposal to the Banggar leader where bylaw revision about PMP for PD Dharma Jaya from Rp 250 billion becomes Rp Rp 1 trillion. From Rp 250 billion, PD Dharma Jaya has spent Rp 170 billion.

"Additional capital is given, thus they can open market operation in order to solve price hike during feast day," he told.

PD Dharma Jaya Director, Marina Ratna Dwi Kusumajati expressed, this year's PMP proposal is Rp 98 billion. As planned, next year, it would be increased up to Rp 250 billion.

"We'll propose bylaw revision about PMP for food security," she continued.

She added the expensive meat price during feast day is because many people still buy meat that has been cut than frozen meat. As for meat supply from NTT to the city is around 5 percent from total meat needs.
