South Jakarta Water Management Sub-dept has dredged the Gorgol River, Kebayoran Lama Utara Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama. This is to handle inundation in front of Gandaria City, Jl Sultan Iskandar Muda.

The dredge is varied from 3-4 meters with 1 kilometers. It is from Velbak Bridge until behind Gandaria City

According to Holi Susanto, Head of South Jakarta Water Management Sub-dept, water flow in the channel that located in front of the mall empties into the Grogol River. Ironically, the river experiences sediment.

"The dredge is varied from 3-4 meters with 1 kilometers. It is from Velbak Bridge until behind Gandaria City," he expressed, Tuesday (9/6).

He continued, the river wide is not yet added. Hence, the sediment will be dredged. "The initial condition is only 30-50 centimeters, we will dredge up to 1.5-5 meters," he told.

To do it, one excavator and four dump trucks sent to the field. It is targeted to be complete one month.
