Qurban Animal Slaughtering in School will Be Monitored

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama asserted qurban animal slaughtering in schools should be monitored. Considering animal blood that has been slaughtered is prone to disease thus must be managed well. 

Supposedly it can't be done in school, but we receive request so we have no choice and will send people to monitor

"Supposedly it can't be done in school, but we receive request so we have no choice and will send people to monitor," he stated, at City Hall, Tuesday (9/6).

Basuki assessed, animal slaughtering should be conducted a professional person in the animal slaughterhouse (RPH). So that it can reduce the risk of disease transmission. 

Qurban Animal Slaughtering in School Gets Permission This Year

"This is because the blood is very dangerous, especially for children," he expressed. 

His party has instructed City Maritime, Livestock and Food Security Dept to continuously examine qurban animal in the city. It aims to give safety and convenience for people.

"We've find some animals that are sick, which is why we examine them all," he told.

The dept will deploy 808 officers during animal slaughtering process. Those would examine animal that has been slaughtered. If they are unworthy, they will be burned.
