Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, said qurban animal traders selling on sidewalk will be surely controlled. Traders are allowed to sell as long as do not disturb the public order.

He added that his side has prepared a place for selling qurban animal. One of the places is in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.
Qurban Committee Should Monitor SanitationBasuki appeals the residents to buy the animal at legal place with sticker from Jakarta Dept. of Maritime, Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP).
“Sticker means our personnel have checked the animal, especially its health,” he added.
KPKP agency will deploy 808 personnel during the animal slaughtering. They will be spread at five administration areas to check the meat.
