Bahari Museum Flocked by Tourists

Not only entertainment tourism sites, museum is also flocked by tourists spending their holiday ahead of Eid ul Adha.

It’s our first time here. The place is unique with its historical boat

As the example, Bahari Museum at Jalan Pasar Ikan, Penjaringan, North Jakarta was flocked by 227 tourists since 8 AM to 4 PM. Mostly the tourists spent their time at the museum to learn the Indonesian nautical history.

Amanda Despita (17), a student of SMA 35 Jakarta, came to museum with her friends for a school task.

“It’s our first time here. The place is unique with its historical boat,” she said, Saturday (9/10).

Dinda (25), one of private company workers, stated that she and her friends spent their time to visit historical sites such as Bank Indonesia Museum, Fatahillah, Nasional and Bahari Museum.

“I like with the navigator world and our archipelago,” she stated.

Moreover, there were several foreign tourists visited the museum. One of the is a tourist from South Africa, Daniella (30). She said that Jakarta is rich with colonial histories.

“As the architect, I’m glad with this building design. It has history also,” she closed.
