Istiqlal Mosque Qurban Committee will distribute qurban meat to mosques, musala (small mosque), and foundations in the capital.
Most of the meats will be distributed
Abu Hurairah Abdul Salam, Mosque’s Secretary, said the animals will be slaughtered at Pulogadung slaughtering house, East Jakarta.
“Most of the meats will be distributed,” he said, Sunday (9/11).
Istiqlal Mosque Receives Cows of President and VPAccording to him, the meat distribution is prioritized for the poor.
He appealed the citizens not to come to Istiqlal Mosque for getting the meat. Meat is also available at nearby mosques.
“Last year, we distributed 6,000 meat sacks. It is hoped we get 7,000 sacks this year,” he closed.
