Traffic Engineering at City Hall and City Council Applied on Friday

Jakarta Traffic Directorate City Police will apply traffic engineering around City Hall and City Council on Friday (9/16). It is related with Jakarta RT/RW Forum rally.

This event will influence the security, orderliness, safety, and traffic flow

AKBP Budiyanto said the forum will hold long march from Horse Statue to City Hall and City Council Building. It is predicted about 4,000 people will join the rally.

No Traffic Diversion During WIEF

Based on this event, traffic from Tugu Tani heading to Medan Merdeka Selatan in front of US Embassy will be diverted to Monas Timur-Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur-Jalan Perwira-Lapangan Banteng-Pasar Baru and so on. Or via Jalan Merdeka Timur-Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara-Jalan Majapahit-Harmoni and so on.

Next is from Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat heading to Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan will go straight to Jalan Yhamrin and so on. Traffic fro, Jalan Budi Kemuliaan to Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan will be diverted to Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, or turned right to Jalan MH Thamrin and so on.

When the rally masses are at City Council Building, traffic from Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan to Kebon Sirih will go straight to Jalan MH Thamrin and so on.

Traffic from Jalan Sabang/Jalan Agus Salim heading to Kebon Sirih will be diverted to Jalan MH Thamrin and so on. Traffic from Tanah Abang to Kebon Sirih will turn left to Jalan MH Thamrin-Medan Merdeka Barat and so on.
