Garbage cleaning in the Seribu Islands waters is still constrained by wind season. No wonder, it brings garbage from other regions and pile up at some points during east and west wind season.

Head of City Cleanliness Dept, Isnawa Adji said the river condition in Jakarta is relatively clean. Garbage in the islands is mostly from other regions.

"This is due to wond season. It always brings garbage from Lampung and east side from Karawang," he expressed, Saturday (9/17).

To solve it, city government has 17 garbage ships, with details, 10 units type catamaran, 6 big-size units and 1 patrol ship.

"For janitor, We have 293 people, with details 145 for the islands and 148 for part of the bay. Every day, they routinely do cleaning" he disclosed.
